Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lion’s Mane
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • 1 bottle of orange Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ tablespoon water
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic - finely chopped

Preparation

Cube Lion’s Mane into 1 inch cuts. In a small saucepan, heat water and cornstarch. Add orange juice, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper, and garlic. Stir constantly until it forms a thick sauce. Heat oil in a separate frying pan and saute Lion’s Mane cubes until browned on all sides. Remove to a plate covered with paper towels to drain oil. Coat all cooked Lion’s Mane cubes in cornstarch, then fry in oil. Once fully cooked, add to orange sauce, coat, and serve over rice.
